Golf Simulator Rooms

Take your game to the next level with our range of garden rooms designed specifically for golf simulators — purpose-built for life in Spain. Unlike standard wooden cabins, which rarely have the ceiling height needed for a full driver swing, our high-roof buildings give you the vertical clearance for a complete, comfortable home setup. Whether you’re installing a TrackMan, SkyTrak, FlightScope or Garmin Approach system, these premium structures offer the strength and internal volume serious golfers expect. Built from slow-grown Nordic spruce with wall thicknesses up to 88mm, these cabins handle Spanish heat and Mediterranean winters with ease, while the natural timber stays cool inside. Browse our collection of extra-high garden rooms and create the kind of year-round home golf studio that turns the back of your garden into your favourite room — driver, wedges and everything in between.

Why Choose a Purpose-Built Golf Simulator Cabin?

Most off-the-shelf wooden cabins and casetas you’ll find in Spain have an internal ceiling height of around 2.1 to 2.4 metres — too low for a full swing with a driver. Our golf simulator cabins are designed with a taller apex roof that delivers internal ceiling heights of 2.8 metres or more. That extra headroom means you can swing freely with every club in the bag, from wedges through to driver, without worrying about the ceiling. The difference between this and a standard caseta is the difference between a setup you’ll actually use and one that frustrates you every time.

How Much Space Do You Need for a Golf Simulator?

A reliable home golf simulator setup typically needs at least 2.7 metres of internal ceiling height, 3.5 metres of width and 5 metres of depth. Our range covers several sizes to suit different garden layouts and simulator configurations, with internal dimensions matched to the popular launch monitors used by golfers in Spain — SkyTrak, Foresight GC3, TrackMan, Garmin Approach and Mevo+. Allow about a metre behind the hitting zone, plus a bit of side clearance if a left-handed player will share the room.

Do You Need a Building Licence in Spain?

In Spain, the rules vary by municipality (ayuntamiento) and autonomous community. As a general rule, smaller garden cabins below certain size and height limits can often be installed under a “declaración responsable” or minor works permit (“obra menor”), without needing a full building licence. Because our golf simulator cabins are taller and larger than standard casetas, we always recommend checking with your local town hall before you order. If you live in a gated urbanisation or community of owners (“comunidad de propietarios”), the community rules will also apply — many require approval before exterior structures are built. On request, we can provide full technical drawings, dimensioned plans and structural specifications for your application.

Built for Year-Round Use in the Spanish Climate

Spain’s climate runs hot in summer and surprisingly cold in many regions during winter. Our slow-grown Nordic spruce timber, with thick interlocking log walls, handles both extremes well. The natural density of the wood keeps the inside several degrees cooler than the outside in hot weather, while the optional insulation pack (walls, roof and floor) makes the cabin comfortable through cooler months and inland winters. Many customers also fit air conditioning, ceiling fans, LED lighting and ventilation to create a fully climate-controlled indoor golf studio that’s just as enjoyable in August as it is in January.

More Than Just a Golf Simulator Room

While these cabins are designed with golf in mind, the generous floor area and ceiling height make them ideal for all sorts of other uses. When the simulator isn’t in play, the room works equally well as a home gym, cinema room, games room or home office. For many of our customers in Spain, the building also doubles as a guest space when family visits — a serious upgrade in lifestyle and a genuine boost to property value.

What’s in the Kit?

Each golf simulator cabin is delivered as a complete flat-pack kit: pre-machined log walls, roof boards, floor boards, double-glazed doors and windows, all metal fixings, and a full assembly manual in English. Two reasonably practical people can put one up in a few days, or you can hire a local installation team. We deliver throughout mainland Spain and to Portugal. Delivery to the Balearic Islands and Canary Islands is available on request.
