We recently completed a custom golf simulator cabin project for a client in Madrid. This spacious 6 x 8 m garden log cabin has been designed to serve multiple purposes, functioning not only as a golf simulator space but also as a home cinema and garden gym, providing our client with versatile year-round use.
The design is based on our popular “Garden Golf Simulator Cabin 5,” but with significant modifications. The size was notably increased, and instead of two aluminum sliding doors, we installed premium-quality double-glazed bi-fold doors for an enhanced look and feel.
The cabin was built to our large 70mm log cabin standards, which include 70mm thick walls, 18mm roof boards, and a robust glulam roof structure. Additionally, extra-thick 28mm floorboards were used for added durability. The client opted for 100mm thick wool insulation along with extra wooden cladding for the façade, as well as roof and floor insulation to ensure the cabin is fully functional throughout the year.
For the exteriors, we used Remmers HK Stain in a Chestnut color, while the interiors were finished with a lighter Stone Pine Larch tone to create a warm and inviting atmosphere.
The entire process—from production to delivery—was completed in just six weeks. Installation and painting took an additional seven days of intensive work. Within the next three weeks, a local golf simulator supplier will install the full simulation system, marking the final phase of the project. Once complete, the cabin will be fully ready to entertain our client and their family.
