Have you ever counted sheep before going to bed? If yes, you may have had a colorful dream about a society of sheep that dances, sings, has parades, a government, and even Lambhenge. If this sounds familiar, you may have had dreams about the current Sheepville.
In the photo above: Residents of Sheepville are having a political conversation. The garden room of Casetas de Jardin is visible in the distance. It serves as a ticket office and a place to rest, blending in perfectly with the surrounding landscape.
Our garden rooms ‘ adaptability and durability have led to frequent usage outside of homes by various businesses, educational institutions, and sports facilities. Located on the charming Estonian island of Saaremaa, Sheepville Tourism Farm is one of our most intriguing foreign clients. Roughly three hundred quirky stone sheep live here. Every individual in this fun destination has a distinct personality and role within the intriguing “political” terrain.
Mart Maastik, an Estonian politician, is the creator of this unique agritourism location. He initially let the public view his “Sheep Parliament” and “Sheep Parade” in 2022, which he had made drawing inspiration from his life and profession. Sheepville is full of brilliant jokes, creative flare, and political humor, as you might anticipate.
Mart spent over 15 years observing life and politics around the world before coming up with the idea for his ‘Sheep Parliament’ of 101 sheep. After obtaining encouraging feedback from the visiting head of the Estonian parliament in 2003, he decided to put the notion in stone – rather literally. But it wasn’t until 2021 that the sheep factory really kicked into motion. In just three years, Mart produced about 300 stone sheep with assistance.

2024 finds Mart working nonstop to construct Lambhenge, the newest Sheepville attraction, in the center of a stunning three-hectare flower garden. Naturally, Stonehenge served as the inspiration this time around, as Mart had visited there in 2023.
You’ll be happy to hear that Sheepville offers overnight accommodations if you’re thinking about visiting yourself. There’s even an option to spend the night in a renovated wooden windmill with wonderful views of the surroundings. Sheepville is a fantastic choice if you’re looking for a fun getaway from a hectic life and are ready to take in a little bit of Estonian charm. And, while collecting souvenirs and tickets, you’ll be under our most popular log cabin, Sophia – the perfect ticket office and resting spot for all your sheep-related escapades!
