We recently completed a large custom-built carport measuring 7 × 8 meters, designed precisely to the client’s requirements. The structure was constructed entirely from glulam timber, chosen for its strength, durability, and suitability for supporting future solar panel installation on the roof.
The carport features extra-thick 200 × 200 mm glulam upright posts, providing excellent structural stability. All posts were securely fixed to the concrete pad using heavy-duty metal post base anchors, ensuring long-term resistance to wind and weather.
After assembly, the entire structure was treated and finished with Remmers HK Lasur in Stone Pine / Larch color, offering both protection and a natural, high-quality appearance.
The on-site assembly was completed efficiently in just two days. The finished carport comfortably accommodates two very large vehicles, combining practicality with a strong, modern timber design.
