Just a few months before the holiday season begins in Ibiza, we completed an exciting project for our customers on the island. We built two beautiful timber cabins—one 20m² garden room and one 40m² two-bedroom guest house—to provide extra accommodation space.
The 20m² garden room was designed to serve as a dining and TV lounge. We constructed it with 70mm thick solid wood walls and extra-thick 28mm floorboards for durability and comfort. To ensure optimal insulation, we added roof and floor insulation and finished the roof with elegant gray roofing shingles.
For the final touch, we painted the cabin inside and out with Remmers HK Lasur Nutwood color, giving it a warm and natural appearance. We also installed a bespoke kitchen, custom-made according to our customer’s specifications. This space will allow guests to cook, dine, and unwind while enjoying their favorite shows in the evenings.
The larger 40m² cabin features two bedrooms and an additional room with a separate entrance, where the customer plans to build a shower room and WC with the help of a local plumber. Like the garden room, this cabin also boasts 70mm thick walls, double-glazed doors and windows, as well as roof and floor insulation, making it suitable for year-round use.
Before our team arrived, the customer prepared two concrete bases with water and electricity connections. Once on-site, we quickly installed both cabins, painted them, and fitted the kitchen—all within just six days. After our work was completed, a local plumber and electrician took over to finalize the bathroom and electrical installations.
Once fully furnished, these beautiful wooden cabins will be ready to welcome guests, offering them a cozy and stylish retreat for an unforgettable summer holiday in Ibiza.
