Building a Large Garden Room in Four Days

One of the first projects we completed in 2025 was a 5 x 8 m garden room that we delivered and built in Mallorca. This cabin will eventually be fitted with gym equipment and used as a garden gym.

Once the cabin kit was delivered, our assembly team arrived to begin construction. A hard, level concrete slab had been prepared in advance by a local company, ensuring a solid foundation for the structure.

Garden Room Assembly Process

The assembly was carried out in the following steps:

• Laying the foundation beams and ensuring they were level.
• Building the walls and installing the roof beams.
• Mounting the roof boards, adding roof insulation, and applying the roofing felt.
• Installing floor insulation followed by the floorboards.
• Fitting the doors and windows.
• Applying decorative wood preservatives to both exterior and interior surfaces.

The Final Result

At the end of the project, the result was a high-quality log cabin featuring sturdy 70mm walls and extra-thick 28mm floorboards to support heavy gym equipment. The roof and floor were insulated, and we installed our premium-quality double-glazed doors and windows.

For the finishing touches, the exterior was painted in a rich Chestnut color, while the interior was finished in a stylish Silver Gray.

Year-Round Usability

Thanks to its 70mm walls, insulated roof and floor, and double-glazed windows and doors, this garden room is well-suited for year-round use in Mallorca’s climate. A small air conditioning unit may be needed during the hottest summer days, while minimal heating will keep it comfortable in winter.
