Earlier this year, we completed the construction of a fully functional golf simulator cabin in Seville, in collaboration with Black Box Golf. This bespoke 4 x 7 meter garden room was custom-designed, manufactured, and built to meet the exact requirements of our client.
Constructed using our premium 70mm log cabin system, the structure features robust 70mm wall logs, double-glazed doors and windows, extra-thick 28mm floorboards, solid roof boards, and reinforced metal rods within the walls for added structural integrity. As with all garden rooms designed to house a golf simulator system, this cabin was built with increased internal height—slightly over three meters—to comfortably accommodate a full golf swing.
The customer also opted for roof and wall insulation, with the exteriour walls finished in wooden cladding. Both the interior and exterior walls were painted white, while the doors and windows were finished in anthracite grey, providing a clean and modern contrast.
To incorporate the Zen Green Stage movable putting platform, we engineered a raised 23 cm deep foundation frame. This allowed the platform to be seamlessly recessed beneath the floor surface, ensuring optimal performance and an uncluttered appearance.
The existing concrete pad was extended to the required 4 x 7 meter size and leveled. This preparatory work was arranged and carried out by the client, through a local carpenter.
We prepared detailed cabin plans and submitted them to the golf simulator company for review, ensuring the size and features aligned with both technical needs and the client’s expectations. Once approved by both the simulator company and the client, we proceeded to production.
We manufactured, delivered, and assembled the first stage of the garden room. This included installing the 23 cm deep foundation frame, erecting the walls, installing the roof and floor, adding roof insulation, and painting the interior, doors, and windows.
The golf simulator company then installed the full system, including a large impact screen, the Zen Green Stage platform, artificial turf flooring, and the electrical setup.
In the final stage, our assembly team returned to fit the wall insulation, apply the wooden cladding, and paint the exterior walls, completing the garden room to a high standard.
Each year, we design, manufacture, and build numerous standard and bespoke garden rooms that are adapted for use as golf simulator cabins in both private gardens and golf clubs.
