Designed as a high-quality rental cabin for tourists, this project combines smart layout planning, solid construction, and a warm, natural finish that blends perfectly into its private garden setting.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Project Overview<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>The guest house is a <strong>custom-made 8 \u00d7 5 metre log cabin<\/strong>, offering a total internal area of <strong>40 m\u00b2<\/strong>. Built with <strong>70 mm thick solid wood walls<\/strong>, the cabin provides excellent insulation, durability, and year-round comfort\u2014ideal for both summer visitors and cooler Cantabrian seasons.<\/p>\n<p>The cabin is located in a <strong>private garden next to the main residential building<\/strong>, creating a peaceful and secluded space while remaining conveniently close to the main property. This symmetrical layout allows the cabin to function as either:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>One large guest house, or<\/li>\n<li>Two independent rental units<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Each half features:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A <strong>large 3 \u00d7 2 metre bi-fold door<\/strong> at the front<\/li>\n<li>A <strong>private built-in bathroom<\/strong> measuring <strong>1.5 \u00d7 2 metres<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The bi-fold doors are fitted with <strong>double glazing<\/strong> and can open almost the entire front fa\u00e7ade. This high-quality finish not only provides long-term protection against weather conditions but also gives the cabin a warm, elegant appearance that fits beautifully into its garden surroundings.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Final Result<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>The completed guest house is a <strong>versatile, well-insulated, and visually striking wooden cabin<\/strong>, perfectly suited for short-term tourist rentals in Cantabria.
